GenStation is a client-only iOS and macOS application for generating images and videos using third-party AI services (Google Gemini, xAI Grok, AI/ML API, ComfyUI, and optionally ImgBB). We do not collect, store, log, or transmit any personal data.
GenStation has no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no servers of its own. We do not collect, store, log, or transmit any personal data. API keys are stored only in the secure system keychain on your device and are never sent to us.
Prompts and generated outputs are processed locally whenever possible. However, when you generate or enhance content:
All generated images, videos, and history are stored only locally on your device unless you manually share or export them.
When you use third-party AI services through GenStation, your data (prompts, images, and API keys) may be transmitted across international borders to the servers of those services. GenStation has no control over where third-party providers process or store your data.
The app acts only as a pass-through client. The following external services may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies:
You are solely responsible for reviewing those services' privacy policies and for any fees or usage limits they impose.
GenStation includes a local prompt filter to help prevent harmful content. Additionally, all supported AI providers enforce their own content policies and safety filters. You remain fully responsible for all generated content and compliance with applicable laws.
GenStation retains nothing on our side. Generated images, videos, and history are stored only locally on your device and can be deleted at any time within the app.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use GenStation. The app requires age confirmation on first launch.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected here and in app release notes.
If you have any questions, please open an issue on our GitHub repository or contact the developer at the email listed in the App Store listing.
